WEDDING SESSIONS:
How Long Are You Reserved for The Wedding Date? On the day of your wedding I am there from the time you get ready until the last of the main events at the reception. There is no given time limit. You just need to let me know when you need me there that day!
How Do I Reserve My Wedding Date? After providing a non-refundable deposit and signing a contract (both steps must be completed at the same time), you will have confirmed a booking for the particular date and time you desire (dates and times are subject to availability). The remaining amount is then due no later than 7 days away from your wedding date. I allow payment installments of any amount as long as it is paid in full a week prior to your date.

What Kind of Payments Do You Take? Now accepting Credit Cards! (If paying with a Credit Card there will be an additional 4% interest) Payments can also be made via Cash and Checks.
What Will I Receive With My Purchase? Photo session will always include: Free Consultations, Session Time, Custom Photo Editing, A Photo DVD for self printing if purchased after minimum print order purchase, a Facebook Sneak Peek Album, and a minimum of 1 on site location of your choice.
Do You Have A Travel Fee? Customer’s are subject to a travel fee of $25 for travel more than 40 minutes from the photographer’s location.
What's A Sneak Peek Album? Where Do I Find It? A sneak peek of your photo session will be provided within a few days of your photo shoot, and can be viewed on Beautiful Distractions Photography’s Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/BeautifulDistractionsPhotography. Please note that because this is a sneak peek album, not all photos will be provided for viewing.
Can I Share My Photos With My Friends And Family On Facebook? Yes please! Just remember to not crop, edit or cut out my copyright logo in any way. Until you receive your Photo DVD for self printing, the photos are the property of the photographer and the copyright release has not been granted.
After The Editing Is Complete, When Will I Receive My Print Order and/or Photo DVD? If purchased, all Photo DVD’s will be mailed directly to the client after editing is done via USPS every Friday or Saturday within 2 weeks of your session. Once you have viewed your previews and selected your print order, please allow 2-3 weeks to receive it. Once a print order has been submitted, no changes can be made to that order. If additional sizes or “corrected sizes” must be made/ordered, regular pricing as well as shipping and handling fees will still apply. The Photographer will order only those prints listed by the customer request via email. The Photographer is not responsible for inaccurate information provided via email. Please note, there will be no refunds issued for print or product purchases.
Can You Send Me A Replacement Photo DVD? If you wish to have a replacement or an additional DVD, there will be an additional charge of $25 per DVD.
Can You Have My Photos Edited Once I’ve Received Them Already?/Can You Edit This Photo And Email It To Me? What is the extra charge? Yes! Photos are edited at the photographer’s discretion. Should a customer wish to have more photos edited, please contact me after you have received your photo DVD for self printing. The editing process can take up to 2 weeks to complete. This is FREE and included with your session.
What Should I Do If I Need To Make Changes to My Session Date/Time/Location/Etc? Changes to your appointment time must be made no less than 1 week in advance. Based on being an on location photographer, weather can change and may cause a session to be rescheduled. Based on weather rescheduling no refund will be made as long as a session can be rescheduled. If changes must be made the day-of (for reasons such as family emergency, etc), you will need to reschedule your appointment date. In the event a client cancels any booked services, no refunds will be issued as other customers could have booked during that time. In the event the photographer must cancel any booked services for any reason, a full refund of all payments provided by the client shall be returned within a sufficient enough amount of time. The photographer will then make every effort to assist the client in rescheduling an appointment or finding a new photographer. Because of this, it is extremely important that communication is maintained between client and photographer (via email or by phone). Sometimes last minute changes need to be made by either the client or photographer, due to changes in weather, family emergency, etc. If a last minute change needs to be made, it is important that both the client and photographer respond to communication from one another immediately, as this helps make a smooth transition into those new changes. Consistent communication ensures that the experience with Beautiful Distractions Photography is neither stressful or worrisome.

What If My Photo Session Takes Longer Than The Requested Time? Each additional hour is $50 per hour, unless previously negotiated. Payment is due immediately at the end of the session if any additional time has accrued. Note: Any photo DVD’s and previews will be held until payment is made in full.
I'm Running Behind And Will Be Late For My Session! What Should I Do? Clients are responsible to arrive at their photo sessions on time. Because late arrivals will result in extended shooting time, the client will be charged for this. Payment is due immediately at the end of the session. If a photo session for another client is scheduled immediately after the photo session to which one is arriving late, the photographer will leave at the appropriate end time in order to arrive to the next session on time. Extended shooting time, in this instance, will be unavailable.
My Child Is Being Difficult Today, Do You Think You'll Be Able To Photograph Him/Her Okay? I have a 2 year old so I understand children aren't always going to be in the best of moods. Please try to schedule your sessions around their nap time in order to try to get the best possible images. During each session I ask that parents please pay close attention to your children. The photographer can only do so much while they request your child(ren) to pose for them. As I try to capture beautiful memories for you, please be close by should I need you to help your child understand posing. Even in their roughest moods, many great images can still be captured.
